Remember that unplugging a device can be considered device tampering. You could face additional interlock time required or even more legal trouble. Don’t risk it, just ask for permission before you even consider unplugging your device for any reason.
“Can I remove my device once I’ve completed the required amount of time?”
No, you cannot remove your own device once you complete your program. We will handle the device removal.
For interlock removal, you will need to present a valid driver’s license with no interlock restrictions. You may also need to present an official removal clearance on letterhead or court minutes stating the order to remove the interlock. Once this has been provided and verified, we simply remove your device.
